Welcome to Heal Thy Uterus!
This site is to educate a woman on how to have a Healthy Uterus or how to Heal Thy Uterus. Why is this important, you ask? The ancient Mayan’s believed that the woman’s uterus is her first brain. If she (her uterus) is out of place or balance, then, the whole woman will be out of place or balance. It makes sense, does it not?
So many of us modern day women have either:
· Painful Periods PMS
· Depression with menstruation
· Uterine Fibroid
· Fertility Issues
· Frequent Miscarriages
· Irregular Menstrual Cycles
· Abnormal Uterine Bleeding
· Ovarian Cysts
· Peri-menopausal, menopausal symptoms
· or some sort of dis-ease in our reproductive organs.
What is the cause of these issues?
It is known that the position of a woman's uterus can cause numerous pathologies within a woman's body. Depending on where the uterus is displaced, it can cause some of the issues mentioned above along with the following:
· Frequent urination
· Lower back aches
· Vaginal yeast infections
· Low libido
Normally, she, the uterus, leans slightly over the bladder in the center of the pelvis, about one and a half inches above the pubic bone. It is held in this position by muscles, the vaginal wall and ligaments that attach it to the back, front, and sides of the pelvis.
Uterine ligaments are made to stretch to accommodate a growing fetus inside and to move freely when the bladder or bowel is full. The ligaments and muscles can weaken and loosen, causing the uterus to fall downward, forward, backward or to either side.
Various displaced positions of the uterus:
Anteflexed Anteverted Retroflexed Retroverted
A uterus in any of these positions is can also be called tilted or tipped. A uterus can also be prolapsed. Modern medicine has little or nothing to offer women with this problem. Options may include using the birth control pill, muscle relaxants, or surgery and women are generally told, "your uterus is tipped, but that is normal and don't worry about it."
Yet women have a laundry list of physical and emotional symptoms that can be addressed and prevented with simple, noninvasive massage techniques, the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy™ (ATMAT™). For more information or details please visit www.arvigotherapy.com.

What is ATMAT?
The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy™ (ATMAT™) are founded on the ancient Mayan technique of abdominal massage, which is an external non-invasive massage that repositions internal organs that may have shifted and restricted the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and chi energy. As with any other natural healing, Arvigo Techniques seek to restore the body to its natural balance.
The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy™ (ATMAT™) are offered as a supportive modality to enhance health and wellness, and are not meant as an entire approach to health care. If you have any serious medical conditions, please consult your health care provider first.
This being said, these techniques support and enhance health and wellness and have been found to provide satisfactory results when compared to alternate treatments and work in conjunction with alternate treatments such as acupuncture and chiropractic.
